We stayed near piazza della signoria and could visit mercato centrale. Really great location in the center of the city. Within short walking distance to il caffe del verone, where you can have lunch

Taste the food in La Mescita, you only need to walk 600 feet to reach it. Will choose it for sure for next trip, if in Florence...
